Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Roscoe Village
Roscoe Village is a neighborhood in the North Center community area, usually placed between Belmont Avenue and Addison Street, from Ravenswood Avenue west to the North Branch of the Chicago River. At Belmont and Western, the Riverview amusement park drew crowds until it closed after the 1967 season; a shopping center, a police station and a college campus now occupy the site.
West Roscoe Street is the main drag, with cafes, restaurants and neighborhood taverns, and Belmont, Damen, Western and Addison carry more. The bars lean casual: craft beer taverns, pubs serving comfort food, wine bars, a sports bar, a tavern with a beer garden out back, a few late-night spots on Western and a music venue that books local bands and comedy. Summer brings street festivals such as Retro on Roscoe.
Outdoor seating and summer street festivals can push a system harder than a quiet weeknight does. We keep Roscoe Village lines clean on a regular interval, set gas pressure and temperature for each beer, fix what wears out, and add taps or build new systems when a bar grows.

Common questions
Our beer garden tap foams on hot afternoons. Why?
Heat is the usual cause. If the line out to an exterior tower is not insulated and kept cold for its whole run, the beer warms on the way and foams at the faucet, and a tower sitting in direct sun makes it worse. Keeping that run cold, often with a glycol-cooled trunk line and a chilled tower, and balancing the line for its length usually solves it. Glycol chiller service.
We keep turning up the regulator to fix our pours. Is that a problem?
It can be. Raising the pressure can mask the real cause, such as warm beer, a dirty line or a worn faucet, and too much pressure slowly overcarbonates the beer, which makes foaming worse over time. It is better to find the cause and set each regulator to match the beer, the line and the temperature. Troubleshooting and repair.
