Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Lakeview
Lakeview, officially the Lake View community area, sits on Chicago's North Side along the lakefront, with Lincoln Park to the south, Uptown to the north and North Center to the west. It takes in several distinct districts: Wrigleyville around Wrigley Field at Clark and Addison, Northalsted along Halsted Street, the Southport Corridor, and Lakeview East along Broadway.
The draft systems here are as varied as the neighborhood: sports bars and rooftop venues around the ballpark, bars and nightclubs along Halsted, restaurant patios on Southport, music venues on the main streets, and corner taverns on the side streets in between.
Volume swings are part of the job in Lakeview, where a bar near Wrigley Field can go from quiet to packed on a game day. We keep lines on a cleaning schedule, rebalance systems that foam under heavy pouring, service the glycol chillers behind long-draw and upstairs bars, and install or expand systems.
Lakeview is one of the Chicago neighborhoods we serve. See the Chicago page.

Common questions
Does a busy game-day schedule change how often lines need cleaning?
Not the minimum. Illinois sets cleaning by time, and buildup forms whether a line pours a lot or a little. What a busy stretch changes is the cost of a problem: a line that foams on a game day wastes more beer, so it pays to have the system balanced and checked before a run of busy days. What the Illinois rule requires.
Do you work on rooftop and upper-floor bars?
Yes. A bar upstairs or on a roof is usually fed by a long-draw system, with a glycol-cooled trunk line running up from the cooler. We clean those lines, service the chiller and rebalance the system, since the extra height and distance change the pressure each line needs. Glycol chiller service.
Is Roscoe Village part of Lakeview?
Not officially. Roscoe Village is in the North Center community area, just west of Lakeview. It is inside city limits, so it is part of our Chicago service area as well. Our Chicago page.
