Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Logan Square

Logan Square is a large Northwest Side community area, cut diagonally by Milwaukee Avenue and laced with tree-lined boulevards: Logan, Kedzie and Humboldt, plus Palmer Square and the square the neighborhood is named for. That square, where Logan and Kedzie boulevards meet Milwaukee Avenue beside the Logan Square Blue Line station, is marked by the Illinois Centennial Monument, a column topped by an eagle.

Milwaukee Avenue is the neighborhood's main commercial artery. Cocktail bars, music venues, a distillery, a brewery, an arcade bar and a vintage movie house with its own bar share the area with a long list of restaurants, some with patios or rooftop seating for warm weather, and an award-winning farmers market.

Behind those bars sits a wide range of equipment: rotating craft lists that change kegs constantly, cocktail bars with a few taps tucked into the back bar, and restaurants in mixed-use buildings with apartments upstairs. We work with all of them in Logan Square, from routine line cleaning and repairs to gas and glycol service and full installations.

Common questions

Our long runs are old vinyl tubing. What should replace them?

For longer runs and trunk lines, barrier tubing is the usual choice. Its lining resists picking up flavors and lets less oxygen through than standard vinyl, which remains common for the short jumper lines inside a cooler. Replacing old runs is also a good moment to rebalance the system for the new lines. Line replacement and repair.

We're moving our bar to a different wall. Can the draft system move with it?

Much of it may. Towers, the cooler and the gas equipment can often be reused, while lines are rerouted or replaced to fit the new path. Any change in line length or rise means rebalancing, so every tap pours right from its new spot. Expanding or rebuilding a system.
