Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Avondale
Avondale sits on the Northwest Side between Diversey Avenue and Addison Street, west of the North Branch of the Chicago River. Milwaukee Avenue follows the route of an old plank road through the middle of it, and the stretch between Diversey and Addison is still known as the Polish Village. The rail lines and the river drew factories, warehouses and brickyards, and St. Hyacinth Basilica, one of only three basilicas in Chicago, rises over the neighborhood.
Some of those industrial buildings now house breweries and makers. A brewery taproom on Kedzie Avenue and a German-style lager brewery overlooking the river share the neighborhood with a Polish bar known for polka nights, an Irish pub, a vintage bowling alley with a bar, live-music venues, an electronic music club and a karaoke bar. New breweries, bakeries and shops keep opening along Milwaukee, Belmont and Diversey avenues.
A taproom pouring a long list, a music hall with bars spread across a big room and a corner tavern running an older setup all need different things. We work across that range in Avondale: scheduled cleaning, troubleshooting and repair, glycol and gas service, and new systems built into converted spaces.

Common questions
Do you service bars inside bowling alleys, music halls and other entertainment venues?
Yes. Venues like these may have a bar well away from the cooler, several pour stations or a portable bar for events, and each line needs cleaning and balancing for its own run. Where the distance is long, a glycol-cooled trunk line keeps the beer cold all the way to the faucet. Glycol and long-draw service.
When a keg empties mid-rush, our long lines fill with foam. Can that be prevented?
A foam-on-beer detector, or FOB, can help. Fitted on each line near the keg, it stops the flow when the keg runs dry, so the line stays full of beer instead of foam and the next keg pours without wasting beer to clear the line. FOBs earn their place on long-draw systems, where each line holds a lot of beer. Draft system installation.
