Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Oak Park

For nearly a century Oak Park was dry. The village did not allow liquor sales until 1973, when a new ordinance opened the way for its restaurants to serve, and for decades afterward its liquor licenses came with a requirement to sell food. It sits on Chicago's western border, with Downtown Oak Park about 10 miles west of the Loop by the Village's count. Chicago's Austin neighborhood runs along its east side and north edge, River Forest and Forest Park lie to the west, and Berwyn and a short stretch of Cicero lie to the south.

Its dining is spread across several business districts. Downtown Oak Park runs along Lake Street. The Hemingway District, home to Frank Lloyd Wright's Unity Temple, is a short walk from the Green Line and Metra. The Pleasant District sits just south of downtown, the Oak Park Arts District stretches along Harrison Street, Southtown follows Oak Park Avenue around the Blue Line, and the North Avenue corridor lines the village's northern edge.
