Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Evanston
Evanston is the first suburb north of Chicago on the lakefront, bordered by Chicago's Rogers Park and West Ridge to the south, Skokie to the west and Wilmette to the north. Downtown Evanston, a short walk from Northwestern University's lakefront campus, is the city's main dining district, and smaller business districts along Central Street, Noyes Street, Howard Street and the Main-Dempster Mile have restaurants and bars of their own.
Draft beer is a newer arrival here than in most Chicago suburbs. Evanston stayed dry for more than a century and did not license on-site drinking until 1972, when the first licenses went to downtown hotels and restaurants. Today taps run in downtown restaurants and hotel bars, neighborhood spots and taprooms across the city.
We work on draft systems throughout Evanston: scheduled line cleaning, tracking down foam and temperature problems, glycol and gas work, and new installations or added taps for restaurants that are growing their beer list.
Evanston is part of our suburban Cook County service area. See the Cook County page.

Common questions
Which parts of Evanston do you cover?
The whole city. That includes downtown, Central Street, Noyes Street, Howard Street and the Main-Dempster Mile, along with locations in between.
Business slows down when Northwestern is on break. Do the lines still need regular cleaning?
Yes, as long as the taps are in service. Buildup forms over time, not only with volume, and beer sitting in a slow line keeps changing. If you take taps out of service for a stretch, have the lines cleaned before they sit and again before they go back into use.
We're on the Chicago side of Howard Street. Which page covers us?
Locations inside Chicago city limits fall under our Chicago service area. The work is the same either way, so include your address in the form. Our Chicago page.
