Common questions
Our glycol system keeps up on normal nights but the beer warms up when the bar is packed. Why?
A glycol chiller has a limit on how much heat it can pull out, and a full bar with every tap pouring can push past it. A dirty condenser, glycol mixed too weak or a pump that is wearing out lowers that limit further. It can for higher-volume venues. A bulk CO2 system uses an insulated tank on site that is refilled in place, instead of a row of cylinders that someone has to change mid-shift.
