Draft in Mount Prospect is poured at long-running taverns, family restaurants and sports bars as well as newer downtown spots, so the systems we see here range widely in age. We clean lines on a set schedule, replace lines and faucets that have worn out, set up gas for stouts and other nitro beers, and install new systems when a space is built out or remodeled.

Common questions
We want to add a nitro stout next to our regular drafts. What does that take?
A nitro beer pours with a nitrogen-heavy gas blend through a stout faucet, so it needs its own gas supply, regulator and faucet, separate from the beers on CO2 or a standard blend. Depending on your setup, the gas can come from a dedicated cylinder or a gas blender. We can look at what you have and lay out what the addition would involve. CO2 and beverage gas.
Our tavern's lines have been in place for years. Can they still be cleaned, or do they need replacing?
Regular cleaning keeps lines in service for a long time, but older vinyl lines can stain, stiffen or hold onto flavors that cleaning no longer removes. If a beer still tastes off right after a cleaning, replacing those runs is usually the better fix. The condition of each line can be checked during a regular cleaning visit. Beer line cleaning.
