Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Des Plaines
Des Plaines is a city on the Des Plaines River northwest of Chicago, with Chicago's O'Hare community area along its southern edge; the City puts the airport about five minutes away. Park Ridge and Rosemont border it on the east and south, Mount Prospect on the west, Elk Grove Village at its southwest corner and Glenview to the northeast.
The town was platted in 1857 as Rand and renamed in 1869 to match its railroad station. Miner and Ellinwood streets have been the center of local commerce since the 1870s, and downtown still revolves around the Metra Union Pacific Northwest stop on Miner Street. Across from the station is the Des Plaines Theatre, a 1925 movie house that the City bought, restored and reopened in 2021 as a live performance venue, and Metropolitan Square adds mixed-use retail just north of Miner.
Its location next to the airport adds hotels to the mix. Besides downtown restaurants and neighborhood bars, Des Plaines has hotels near O'Hare whose bars and banquet rooms run on uneven schedules. We keep systems like those on a cleaning schedule, balance them so they pour well when volume picks up, and handle repairs, glycol and gas service, and installations.
Des Plaines is part of our suburban Cook County service area. See the Cook County page.

Common questions
Do you work with hotels near O'Hare?
Yes. Hotels often run a lobby bar, a restaurant and banquet rooms, each with its own taps or portable systems. Every one of them needs cleaning on schedule while it is in service, and a banquet system that sits between events should be cleaned before it goes back into use.
Our restaurant is in one of the older downtown buildings. Can we add taps?
Usually. It depends on how far the cooler is from the bar, whether there is a clear path for new lines through walls or floors, and whether the gas supply and any glycol chiller can handle more. In older buildings the route is often the deciding factor. We can look at the space and lay out what an expansion would take. Draft system installation.
