Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Glenview

South of Northbrook and north of Niles, Morton Grove and Skokie, Glenview covers a broad stretch of the north suburbs. Wilmette and Northfield border it on the east, and Des Plaines and Prospect Heights meet it on the west.

Its restaurants are split between two very different districts. Downtown Glenview, the village's historic commercial center, is shaped like an L: one leg runs north and south on Waukegan Road, the other east and west on Glenview Road, which crosses the West Fork of the North Branch of the Chicago River and the Metra tracks near the downtown station. Since adopting a downtown strategic plan in 2021, the Village has been bringing new restaurants into that district. The other, The Glen, was built on the former Naval Air Station Glenview after the Navy left in 1995, with the Village acting as master developer, and Glen Town Center there mixes shops and restaurants with apartments on the upper floors.

Downtown restaurants, hotel bars at The Glen, sports bars and family places in the shopping centers all run draft systems in Glenview. For those businesses we set a cleaning interval and stick to it, troubleshoot temperature and pressure problems, rebuild faucets and couplers, service glycol chillers and regulators, and design and install systems for restaurants opening in new or remodeled spaces.

Glenview is part of our suburban Cook County service area. See the Cook County page.

Common questions

Do you cover The Glen as well as downtown Glenview?

Yes. We work throughout the village, including Glen Town Center and the rest of The Glen, the downtown blocks along Glenview Road and Waukegan Road, and the restaurants and bars in between.

Our restaurant is on the ground floor of a building with apartments above. What does that mean for the draft system?

Mostly it affects where the equipment goes. A glycol chiller needs power and ventilation, and it gives off heat and some noise, so in a building with residents upstairs its location takes some thought. Trunk lines may also have to follow shared chases or ceilings. Those decisions are easiest to make before the build-out is finished. Draft system design.
