Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Lombard
Lombard, known as the Lilac Village, is in east-central DuPage County between Glen Ellyn and Villa Park, with Addison to the north and Downers Grove, Oak Brook and Oakbrook Terrace to the south. Lilacia Park, next to downtown, hosts the Lilac Time festival during the first three weeks of May.
Downtown Lombard runs along St. Charles Road and Main Street around the Union Pacific West Line depot, with restaurants, pubs and shops, and the village has used tax increment financing along St. Charles Road to help new restaurants open there. On the south side, Yorktown Center anchors a regional shopping district on Butterfield Road with hotels nearby, and office buildings line 22nd Street along the village's southern border.
Those two halves bring different draft work. Downtown, a pub might pour from one compact system; near Yorktown, a hotel or large restaurant might run several bar stations. We keep both on a cleaning schedule, troubleshoot pours, look after glycol and gas equipment, and add taps or install complete systems.

Common questions
Do you cover the Yorktown area as well as downtown Lombard?
Yes. Along with downtown, on St. Charles Road and Main Street around the Union Pacific West depot, we cover Yorktown Center and the hotels on Butterfield Road, the 22nd Street corridor on the village's southern border, and the rest of the Lilac Village.
Can we add taps without replacing the whole system?
Often, if the system has room to grow. A trunk line may have unused lines, a tower may have open faucet positions, and a glycol chiller may have capacity to spare. When one of those runs out, the job gets bigger. We look at what you have and lay out the options. Draft system installation.
What happens during a line cleaning visit?
Beer is flushed from each line, cleaning solution is circulated through it from the coupler to the faucet, and the line is rinsed until no chemical is left. Faucets and couplers come apart for hand cleaning. Each visit is recorded with the date and the signature of the person who did the work. More on line cleaning.
