Draft Beer Line Cleaning and Draft System Service in Downers Grove
Downers Grove sits in southeastern DuPage County on Metra's BNSF Line, bordered by Lombard and Oak Brook to the north, Westmont to the east, Darien and Woodridge to the south and Lisle to the west. Its downtown surrounds the Main Street station, with shops, restaurants and microbreweries that brew on site along Main, Curtiss and Burlington streets, plus a historic movie theater.
Two more commercial stretches cross the village from east to west. Ogden Avenue is a retail corridor the village has worked for years to redevelop, and Butterfield Road, near I-88, has office complexes, hotels and stores. The Butterfield corridor belongs to a regional shopping and office district that Downers Grove plans together with Lombard, Oak Brook and DuPage County.
In an older downtown building, the keg cooler may sit a floor below the bar and send beer up through a trunk line. Along Butterfield, a hotel can run its restaurant bar and banquet service from the same cooler. We service both kinds of Downers Grove systems with line cleaning on a set rotation, gas and glycol checks, faucet and coupler rebuilds, and design and installation for new spaces.

Common questions
We brew on site downtown. Can you service the draft system at our bar?
Yes. We handle the system that carries your beer from the cooler to the faucets, including the gas and glycol equipment behind it.
Do you cover Ogden Avenue and the Butterfield Road corridor as well as downtown?
Yes. Along with downtown around the Main Street station, our Downers Grove coverage takes in the Ogden Avenue retail corridor and the hotels, offices and stores along Butterfield Road near I-88.
We're near the office parks, busy at lunch and quiet nights and weekends. Does that change our cleaning schedule?
Not the interval. Lines need cleaning on the same schedule however the traffic falls. A lunch-heavy pattern does mean beer sits still in the lines overnight and over weekends, so watch the first pours after a quiet stretch. Off-flavors or foam there usually point to a line that is due for cleaning or a temperature problem.
